Melenara

Melenara is the natural bay of the east of Gran Canaria where today a proud statue of the god Neptune defies the sea. This proud and defying image is a reminder of how from the Ancient times the Canaries where dubbed “the garden of the Hesperides” after the Greek myth. Today it is another alluring touristic attraction alongside with the superb quality of these waters fresh fish and the many restaurants where it is served. The undeniable beauty of this rocky coast continues attracting many unconditional sea lovers to the sand of its beaches.
